01Who we are

Fajr Interiors is an interior design and build company in Dubai, holding trade licence 648890. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Fajr Interiors, and “you” means anyone who visits fajrinteriors.com or contacts us through it.

We decide how the personal data described here is used, so we are responsible for it.

02What this notice covers

This notice covers personal data collected through this website and through the contact routes it links to: phone, WhatsApp and email. It does not cover the websites of other companies we link to. If you become a client, your contract and any project documents may set out further terms for project information.

03What we collect

Information you send us

When you tap a phone, WhatsApp or email link on this website, the conversation continues on that service, and we receive what you choose to send, such as:

• your name, phone number and email address;
• your message, and the building, community, size, dates or budget you mention;
• photos, floor plans, drawings or documents you share.

The estimate page

The options you choose on the estimate page are used to show an indicative band on screen. If you then send those details to us, by WhatsApp or email, we receive what you send.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how it is used. It sets analytics cookies and records the pages you visit, time on page, the type of device and browser, the website that referred you, an approximate location derived from your IP address (Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses), and clicks on the site's phone, WhatsApp and email links and completed estimates. It does not record what you write in a WhatsApp message or an email. We use this information in aggregate and not to identify you. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

04Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call, a site visit or a studio visit.
• To prepare an estimate or quotation you have asked for.
• To plan, deliver and hand over a project if you become a client, including submissions to landlords, developers and authorities that the project requires.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We use personal data on a lawful basis recognised by UAE data protection law: your consent, steps you ask us to take before a contract, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, or a legal obligation.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed:

• with service providers who run the tools we use, such as messaging, email and website hosting providers, and Google for analytics;
• on a project, with the landlord, building management, developer, authorities, consultants or suppliers involved, to the extent the project needs;
• with professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants;
• with authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the law requires for such transfers.

06How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for as long as is reasonable to respond and follow up, then deleted or anonymised. Client and project records are kept for as long as the law and our contractual obligations require.

07Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and subject to the conditions and exceptions it sets, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
• stop using your data where we rely on legitimate interests, or for marketing;
• withdraw consent you have given, without affecting what was done before;
• transfer data you gave us to another organisation, where that applies.

To make a request, email hello@fajrinteriors.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can also complain to the relevant UAE data protection authority.

08Cookies and your choices

Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_N7W36M6EG7. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse analytics cookies. You can also stop Google Analytics measuring your visits with Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site will still work if you do.

09How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information that a project does not need.

10Children

This website is intended for adults planning a project. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

11Other websites

This site links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, X, YouTube, WhatsApp and Google Maps. Those services collect and use data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

12Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
